Hey all,
Just for fun, I estimated the drop rate for the Strange Ide Crystal, dropped from Idian Depths, Elyos ghosts and Ksilids mobs. The results is shown in the video below.
Happy farming!

Ok but i have question, did you make it on weekend with 2x rates on?, have you on one of those energy from afking (same as from tea)
Hey Kamai,
You're spot on. Those elements would definitely impact the final outcomes. To ensure the cleanest data possible, I also used an alt stationed at the mentioned locations and only gathered info (on both characters) when the Energy of Repose was active. Additionally, I gathered the data during weekdays.
Even with that, there's still a 5% additional drop rate due to the Energy of Repose. However, it seems that the ER's 5% is added on top of the item's base drop rate. For instance, if something has a 10% chance to drop, activating ER doesn't boost it to 15%, instead, it adds 5% more to the base 10% (resulting in less than 11% total). That's fairly minimal in the end. Nevertheless, I kept a buffer for uncertainty in the results:
So, in summary:
Kselids -- 2.5% to 5%
Ghosts -- 5% to 8%
Idian Depths -- 10% to 15%
Added note: Worn Skeletons in Katalam - Might range between 8% to 12%! (not covered in the video)
It’s a challenge to nail down a precise percentage, but it seems like we're moving in the right direction.
By the way, if you're looking forward to a fresh experience, I'm currently testing Aion Riftshade, set to launch in Q1 2026. It's possibly the best Aion private server of 2026 with features like a MyAion-like integrated DPS Meter and a strong anti-cheat system. Might be the change we're all waiting for!
Cheers,
Poela, the Elyos chanter.
