I chanced upon a workaround that's doing the trick for me right now :

1) kick off with an earring and use /useright "earring name".
2) follow with the necklace as a divider /use "necklace name".
3) follow up with the other earring part as /useleft "earring name".
4) then equip the ring with /useright "ring name".
5) place the belt as a divider /use "belt name".
6) finalize with the second ring as /useleft "ring name".

so the macro might look like this in illustration :
/useright Discordant Magic Earrings
/use Discordant Magic Necklace
/useleft Discordant Magic Earrings
/useright Discordant Magic Ring
/use Discordant Magic Belt
/useleft Discordant Magic Ring

*Feel free to switch the sequence of earrings / rings and necklace / belt. What's key is to commence with the right side, use a divider, then continue with left).
