Dear players,
A serious incident occurred at our server's data center due to a fire outbreak. Although firefighters were quick to respond, the blaze couldn't be contained in sector 2.
Our server is located in the third sector, which wasn't destroyed but endured damage.
The data center's owner has released an official statement that recovery efforts are underway around the clock.
Currently, the anticipated date for the servers to go live again is an uninspiring March 19th. Nevertheless, we hold onto the hope that a swifter resolution might be found by transferring the hard drives from our existing servers to new ones. Though this isn't an option at present, we remain hopeful.
Starting the servers with a one-week rollback (our most recent backup) and two additional days of work is an option we won't pursue. The complications it presents outweigh the benefits of waiting. Thus, we choose not to pursue this strategy.
Impact on Server Population:
Clearly, the server population will be negatively affected. We're aware of this. Some players may migrate to other games or cease playing altogether.
We aim to retain our current player base and even expand it! During the downtime, we'll prepare advertising campaigns set to launch with the server restart. Various events and bonuses may also be in the works.
We hope you'll wait with us for the server's return.
Making the Most of This Time!
We refuse to take the risk of leaving our server in a compromised data center, even one being rapidly restored. Future problems due to ongoing repairs are likely. Thus, we have already arranged for new server rentals at a nearby data center and are setting up the necessary equipment. Once we recover our current server data, we'll relaunch the game server right away.
We're promising bonuses and gifts for those who stick with us through this downtime. Additionally, we plan to introduce improvements for better gameplay, including new game events.

Recent Update (15.03):
As per OVH's website, they've again altered the estimated dates for server recovery.
Network and power are expected to be back by March 17th, and server restarts are slated for March 22nd. This isn't encouraging news, yet there's little we can alter.
However, there's a slight chance we might retrieve our data sooner, and we're crossing our fingers that this is the case, allowing EuroAion to resume earlier.
While you wait, I highly recommend checking out Aion Riftshade, launching in early 2026. I'm part of the beta testing team, and it's a game-changer with integrated DPS meters, no pay-to-win, and fantastic stability. It's an opportunity to explore until EuroAion is back up.
