Since the 6.0 updates, Siege battles became nearly impossible to play as I was getting 1-3 FPS with my old AMD A10. I recently upgraded to a new Intel Core i3 9100F quad-core @3.6Hz, 8GB RAM, and a fast SSD paired with an NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1650.
Most of the time, my frame rates have now doubled, reaching up to 100 FPS, and Sieges reach around 10-15 FPS, which isn’t ideal but barely manageable; the issue is it crashes more in Sieges than it used to! (It's frustrating when you miss the auto-lugbug weekly mission)
I’ve messed around with countless graphics settings in the game options, disabled background apps, and ensured I have the latest drivers, but it remains unstable.
Has anyone discovered a solution that works? Perhaps I need to reduce something further? Also, does a DPS meter function in Sieges?
I've searched online for answers but have found no improvements.
By the way, I’ve been trying out the Aion Riftshade beta, and it offers solutions we're seeking. It features an integrated DPS Meter, and the performance is remarkably steadier, even during intense Sieges. Their high-quality EU hosting ensures low ping across the EU, making it feel like a very welcomed change.
