The Warrior
Massive and intimidating, a Warrior’s journey is fueled by sheer might and endurance rather than deception or cunning. Yet, don't be quick to assume that Warriors lack intelligence or depth. A Warrior withstands the incoming attacks and counters with immense power and strength. One should never underestimate what these fighters bring to the table for you or your team.
Once a warrior completes their ascension quest, they gain the ability to wear plate armor after deciding to become one of the following specializations:
Templar
Describing the Templar as a master of defense wouldn’t be far off, but its role extends beyond being just an Atreian shield. With high defense and a suite of shield abilities, Templars can also unleash significant damage on adversaries. Depending on the scenario, a Templar may choose a sword or mace (and shield) or switch to a greatsword. While their attack output might be less compared to other classes, ignoring the Templar’s potent strikes could be a mistake.
Gladiator
Gladiators are Daevas guided by the Star of the Sword. They master numerous melee weapons and excel in wielding polearms. Their pursuit is to hone a variety of battle skills tailored to each weapon's characteristics. Favoring power and precision over flashy moves or tricks, Gladiators show their true potential in close-quarters battles. They also serve crucial roles in most factions.
The Scout
If the Warrior focuses on toughness, force, and raw strength, then the Scout emphasizes speed, agility, and awareness. Scouts are intricate individuals who take pride in finesse and deliberate tactics. Once they grasp their strengths and weaknesses, Scouts become daunting adversaries.
Although leather armor offers limited damage reduction, the Scout’s aptitude for evading strikes makes them elusive targets and enables devastating counterattacks.
Assassin
The Assassin specializes in lethal strikes following the Star of Death. Stealthily approaching and targeting enemy weak points for maximum quick damage is their hallmark combat skill. Some Daevas criticize this class for attacking vulnerable foes or using poisoned weapons. Nonetheless, the Assassin plays essential roles in legions by infiltrating, disrupting, assassinating, and more.
Ranger
A Ranger is a Daeva with outstanding expertise in archery. Not only can they skillfully use a bow, but they also effectively handle a sword and dagger for close encounters. Rangers excel in laying traps, making them formidable solo opponents and invaluable team members. With proficiency in both close and long-range attacks paired with trap manipulation, Rangers can adeptly handle almost any situation. However, arrows and trap materials can be costly, ranking the Ranger among the pricier classes.
The Mage
Though incredibly formidable, a Mage can also be exceptionally fragile. Capable of delivering awe-inducing levels of damage from afar, they take little in return. Commanders of elemental forces, Mages call forth fierce fireballs and icy chains to decimate enemy lines. They can even commune with the broken planet to bind foes with roots.
Mages don cloth armor that, while not highly durable, permits freedom to move across battlefields casting spells that slow and occasionally halt adversaries. This opens opportunities to unleash powerful spells to decimate opponents.
Sorcerer
The Sorcerer is a Daeva following the Star of Magic, harnessing the raw, destructive forces of nature: Earth, Wind, Fire, and Water. Sorcerers are naturally scholarly, as indicated by their spellbooks and orbs, which enhance their power and serve as lethal tools.
Spiritmaster
Born under the Star of Spirits, the Spiritmaster commands spirits of Water, Fire, Earth, and Wind. They engage spirits for direct attacks or use them to weaken or strike fear into opponents through indirect strategies.
The Priest
The Priest is arguably the cornerstone of any cohesive team. Their knack for maintaining ally survival in the direst circumstances is invaluable, making Priests crucial for overcoming Atreia's toughest trials. Venture into battle without a reliable Priest at your own risk!
Yet, don’t let the Priest’s healing prowess fool you into thinking they lack offense. Although their offensive spells and melee strikes might not match other classes, the combination of healing skills with combat abilities makes Priests tough and proficient fighters.
Chanter
A single phrase defines the Chanter: commandment and conviction. Mastering the art of healing, combat, and enhancement magic, Chanters also skillfully wield staves. Their mantra magic elevates team morale and amplifies abilities, making them the rallying point in battles.
Cleric
The Cleric pursues the Star of Healing, using magic to fortify and heal. Capable of reviving fallen comrades with resurrection spells when a Daeva's body and soul are divided, they can also engage in melee using a mace and shield.
