Shop refreshing friend list

I was wondering if something can be done in terms of the shop actually refreshing faster. What i mean is, to sell siel to anyone after you added them as friends takes 1 minute to appear in the shop list and for others takes literally hours. I am keen on an explanation to understand what is happening.
