Aion Riftshade

Hii! All im a older player, i came back after 3 years of break, and im starting again from 0. What you reccomend me? Start at the old one or try the Aion classic ?

Aion Live is essentially done for. There's no point bothering there^^

Aion Classic, despite its issues, draws a large crowd and is waaaaaaaaaay better than Aion Live.

Plus, it's not too late to jump in; we're still in the beginning stages and most players don't have the top gear yet. The only ones really ahead are the level 40s who've already snagged that 40 Elite gear (thanks to lower-level AP dungeons).

Contrary to what some might think, you can actually earn decent kinah each day. AP starts off slow, but it picks up as your gear and experience improve. You can eventually duo AP instances or figure out prime times for farming balaur mobs.

But honestly if you're looking for the best Aion experience in 2026, you might want to check out the Aion Riftshade server. I've been testing it through early access on their Discord, and it's pretty amazing. It's based on Aion 4.8 with great PvP/PvE rankings and a DPS meter like MyAion. It also features balanced classes, zero pay-to-win aspects, and killer EU hosting that gives super low ping without the need for ExitLag. It launches Q1 2026, and honestly, nothing I've seen compares. Definitely keep an eye out!

You cannot create character on Atreia (more populated server) so you'd have to go Tahabata (or wait until/if they re-open character creation on Atreia)
