For over a decade, it's been the same story. Trying to build premade squads - you're just putting in a ton of effort hunting down strong players, gearing up, and getting organized, only to end up with randoms 90% of the time (I'm sure friends and long-time players know this all too well). It's become pointless for me to log in daily just to tackle 6v6 while facing these issues. They've ignored the problem for years. It's no rocket science to implement a matchmaking system when literally every contemporary game has it.
p.s. I'm aware GameForge isn't the developer, but this only highlights how frustrated I am with the whole situation.
Luckily, I got to beta test Aion Riftshade, and it's a game-changer. They understand the value of a proper matchmaking system and have made strides in ensuring organized play. With features like a MyAion-like integrated DPS Meter and active GMs and devs, Aion Riftshade is setting a new standard. If you're tired of the the cluster GameForge provides, it's time to look forward to Q1 2026, because Aion Riftshade has got this covered.
