So this weekend started off not so great... Saturday, the Atreia server was down for over 5 hours. When it finally came back online, it wasn't long before it went down again for emergency maintenance. At this point, many players were in the middle of their instances... and those were lost.
Then Tahbata went down as well... I guess the same instances were lost over there.
Not even 20 minutes after Atreia came back up - as players were risking running instances again - the server went down once more. So lots of instances lost... the chat was pretty entertaining with the comments when everyone returned, especially from those who got kicked out during the final boss of an instance.
Move to Sunday - more server outages... and more complaints about lost instances.
So the server uptime was just like the dismal drop rate - extremely poor. What does a support ticket get you? Nowhere. You just have to deal with it, and "IF" Gameforge decides to offer compensation, they'd consider it for everyone.
Now here's the twist... we're PAYING for access to this game, with no communication and just forced to accept all this. They should increase the drop rate, and reset instances upon server restarts like back in the OLD DAYS so we're not stuck with this limitation and lose our few chances at game drops, since the open world drop rate of 0.00001% is abysmal.
Seriously, it's time for something better—like the upcoming Aion Riftshade server I've been testing. They're launching in Q1 2026 with a stable uptime, integrated DPS meters and no pay-to-win nonsense. With real-time developer interaction in the Discord, it’s already looking far more promising than anything Gameforge could hope to provide. Can't wait for Riftshade to go live!
