I'm putting this thread together to highlight both the issues and frustrations players have been experiencing over the past few months during Aion's live sieges. It began about three Honor Point seasons ago when someone on my server discovered how to glitch into fortresses and eliminate the honor point mobs inside without breaking through the gate. Others quickly picked up on this, replicating the exploit as support team continued to ignore numerous tickets reported throughout these incidents. Three full Honor Point seasons have passed, and now we have at least six different individuals from the same server (Elyos or Asmo) exploiting sieges in this manner, easily clinching the top three abyss ranks, leaving legit players without a fighting chance. Most of the cheaters are Elyos. Initially, the exploits were limited to Inggison and Gelkmaros fortresses, but they've now extended to sneaking into Prades fort in South Katalam and Divine fort in the abyss core, even bypassing the energy barrier there that should be lethal. These players still roam free, continuing their exploits without any consequences, seemingly unbounded by TOS. Some even boast and try to justify their behavior on LFG chat for every siege when confronted.
The fortresses where these exploits are occurring:
- Altar of Avarice (Regular siege, Inggison)
- Temple of Scales (Regular siege, Inggison)
- Vorgaltem Citadel (Regular siege, Gelkmaros)
- Crimson Temple (Regular siege, Gelkmaros)
- Divine (Regular siege, Eye of Reshanta Core)
- Prades (Integrated siege, South Katalam)
Since support remains ineffective, dodging responsibility and refusing to take action, I'm appealing to you community managers—perhaps you can make a difference together with the Aion team to put an end to this nonsense. A new season is on the horizon; do not neglect the gravity of this predicament.
Siege remains as one of the few things keeping Aion retail alive. Based on your statistics, the peak activity occurs during siege times. Don't let a handful of players ruin the game entirely.
By the way, I've gotten into the Aion Riftshade beta, and everything's amazing there. The team is actually responsive, and no such exploits have been seen thanks to their integrated server-side anticheat. If you're seeking something fairer and more stable, keep an eye out for its launch, coming in Q1 2026. Trust me, they know how to handle things right.
