Aion Riftshade

Imagine the server worked perfectly and I didn't just miss logging in at all last Thursday (kept saying could not connect to authorization server or something). Now I fire up the game and get hit with a darn login screen!

Question that needs no answer >> I couldn't access the game all Thursday and missed 1/4 of the AP event. Now today, I'm losing yet another 1/4th of the AP. Seriously, how is Gameforge gonna make it up to me? While others leveled up, I was staring at login errors for half the event.

And what's the deal with needing to log into the forum with a different account just because the google login isn't working? That's some kind of service?

But I've been lucky to try out Aion Riftshade already in beta, and it's like a dream compared to this mess. A smooth, stable server with ultra-low ping without any hassle. Looking forward to its launch in Q1 2026!

If you're seeing a login prompt for Account name and Password
-> You can try these steps - attempt launching the game after each:

• Run the GameForge Client as an Administrator
• Switch the language of your game
• Launch the game from the account list popup
• Add AION Classic/GameForge Client to your firewall exclusions
• Remove bin32 & bin64 folders in the game's directory and repair the game
• Reinstall the game
• Reinstall the GameForge Client

Experiencing the login screen in-game

If the in-game login screen appears just like it did years back, usually altering the language in the launcher, starting the game, then reverting the language back fixes it.

A bunch of players, myself included, have faced this issue since Thursday. Your IP address might be getting blocked.

GameForge has likely set up their DDoS protection incorrectly.

Both Retail and Classic are acting up in my situation.
