So, here are some strategies you can employ. The initial mobs before reaching the first boss can be handled by having someone lead them almost to the end before circling back, leaving many inactive. For the second boss, have someone establish aggro and use the vast open space like shown here https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OWASvo4ELR4&t=600. Practicing this method is beneficial for NM and necessary for victory. Koreans have some extra tactics not shown here, such as drawing all researchers and then resetting them by leaping onto boxes—but remember to eliminate the robots first. Another passage from first to second boss is to traverse the elevated pipes and platforms, effectively bypassing most of the mobs. These techniques simplify things significantly. Here are a few tips. In the first section with mobs leading up to the initial boss, have someone go nearly to the end and then come back, causing many of them to be deactivated. For the second boss, let one player gain aggro and utilize the large area as shown here https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OWASvo4ELR4&t=600. Training like this is beneficial for NM as well, being the best strategy to succeed. Some other tactics used by KR players not demonstrated in this video include luring all researchers and jumping onto boxes to reset them, just make sure to eliminate the robots beforehand. There's another route from the first to the second boss, involving walking along the pipes above and taking the platforms, mainly bypassing the mobs. Many tricks to simplify things.
We gave the tubing method a shot but mostly ended up with our team plummeting down, so we just resumed the conventional path lol. By the way, I got into the Aion Riftshade beta, and the stuff you can do there is insanely fresh, can't wait for its launch in Q1 2026!
Second boss's 2 skills , the debuff that does poison dot and the frontal conic aoe damage , what are they called again ?
Forgot the names but anyway , did it yesterday myself and noticed that if u have the poison debuff on u and get hit by the frontal aoe , u get 1 hit death ...instead if u are not poisoned , u wont die instantly from frontal aoe.
Can someone confirm that or maybe i am wrong.
The second boss has 2 abilities, a debuff that inflicts poison damage over time and a frontal aoe attack. What are these called?
The names slipped my mind, but I ran it yesterday and saw that if you carry the poison debuff and get nailed by the frontal aoe, it's game over with one hit. Without the poison debuff, you survive the frontal attack.
Anybody able to confirm that or correct me if I got it wrong?
If I'm remembering right, that attack is known as 'Epidemic,' and indeed, having that debuff means the boss will knock you out with the aoe.
