[Event Guide] Rukibuki Circus - Spooky Edition (Halloween Special)
Quote from BlackvelvetDisplay More
The Rukibuki Circus Arena is an instance event focused on survival, suitable for players above level 30. To access the instance, converse with one of Ariate's allies dotted around Atreia (refer to the location section). Only a maximum of 6 players can participate.
Ariate is imprisoned in a cage by Circus Director Rukibuki. Begin the encounter by breaking the lock to liberate the event's main character.
As the fight initiates, you will face off against waves of Rukibuki's underlings and mini bosses. Every mini boss holds a stash of keys, each containing random key fragments that can be assembled into a full key. However, if a mini boss isn't vanquished quickly, they will vanish and you won't acquire the stash. Following two waves each featuring a mini boss, Rukibuki himself will join the fray. Upon Rukibuki's defeat (don't forget to loot him), Ariate gets freed, and her comrades gather in the room's center. You'll have access to treasure chests which can be opened with collected keys and fragments.
Important: Minion waves will continue to spawn and circle the cage. It's recommended to eliminate as many minions as possible before the mini boss appears. Once the mini boss arrives, any minions remaining in the arena will attack, regardless of range. Avoiding the mini boss can lead to failure.
Exit the instance via the portal located at the entrance when finished.
Note:
Instance entry isn't available through the dungeon finder/union server group search; you must form a group from your server. So, gather your friends and legion!
Your Character's Transformation
Quote from BlackvelvetDisplay MoreUpon entering the instance, you become a polar bear with a dedicated skill bar and skill set (similar to the Shugo Tomb feature).
Skill damage doesn't scale with your gear or weapon, maintaining fixed values for every class, regardless of skill set!
Tip: Position the skills into your general skill slots.
Skills:
Paw Swipe – Standard attack, dealing 16200 physical damage to a target
Tumble – Deals 112800 physical damage to a target
Biting Wind – Inflicts 48000 damage to up to 3 targets
Bear’s Roar – Causes 24000 damage to up to 6 nearby targets
I love you, Ariate! – Blows a kiss to Ariate requesting aid. Within a 37m radius of Ariate, she'll help restore your HP.
Transformation to a Harlequin
You can transform into an advanced form: the Harlequin. Use a Magic Card to summon a “Funny Harlequin,” who casts the transformation spell on you.
These skills are more powerful and provide additional features (stun) useful for managing multiple monster waves.
Skills:
Throwing Lightning Sword – Swings a lightning sword dealing 24000 damage to up to 3 foes.
Electric Shock – Delivers a powerful electric shock inflicting 236880 damage on a single foe.
Somersault – A flip causing 79200 damage to up to 6 enemies.
Magnificent Fireworks – Launches a firecracker dealing 57600 damage to up to 6 foes, stunning them briefly.
I love you, Ariate! – Blows a kiss to Ariate seeking help. Within a 37m radius of Ariate, she'll assist in restoring your HP.
Mini bosses and Final Boss
Quote from BlackvelvetDisplay MoreBibaroka
Bibaroka's minions spawn at the start of the fight. Survive the waves to summon her. Defeat her to get a bundle with key fragments.
Makekike
Makekike spawns after the waves of Bibaroka's and Makekike’s minions and after Bibaroka’s defeat.
With Makekike’s appearance, 12 boxes appear around the cage. When he reaches 75% health, he'll detonate the boxes, summoning more monsters. It's recommended to destroy the boxes to control the monster count.
Similar to Bibaroka, Makekike drops a key bundle with a random number of key fragments.
Circus Director Rukibuki
Following Makekike's defeat, Rukibuki, the notorious Circus Director, enters after a set time.
Defeating him concludes the instance and frees Ariate from the cage. He drops a Worn Treasure Chest Key, to be rolled on, and a Bundle of everyday items, with various useful items.
Quest and Essential items
Quote from BlackvelvetDisplay MoreTreasure Chest Keys and Key Fragments
You can obtain Treasure chest keys needed to open boxes at the encounter's end once Rubikubi is defeated. Small chests need 1 key; large chests need 3 keys.
- Quest: Ariate's friends offer a repeatable quest rewarding a special treasure chest key upon completion (defeat Rukibuki 10 times). This key remains even after leaving the Rukibuki Circus instance.
- Mini bosses: Each mini-boss drops a bundle with key fragments when timely defeated. The bundle may contain 3 distinct key fragments in random numbers to be combined into one full key.
- Rukibuki (Boss): Defeating Rubikubi grants a full key, available via roll.
- Shop: Like always, there's an option to buy keys from our shop.
Other than the quest key, all keys or pieces from the instance or shop vanish after leaving the instance. Use them all if possible!
Magic Card: Summon Jester – Harlequin Transformation
There are three ways to get a Magic Card: Summon Jester:
- The start of the repeatable quest provides a Magic Card.
- The Card is in Ariate's Bundle, which drops from one of the Treasure chests.
- Like keys, Magic Cards are available for purchase in our shop.
The Magic Card is tradable!
