Aion Riftshade

I was just wondering why isn't my game able to go up to 60fps and gets locked between 30 and 40?

I tried that watch in game video thing and It didn't work.

PS: I do have a very good computer, so that's not the issue

I'm having had the same issue.

Turns out for some reason the game selects the integrated gpu by default. Aion Live and Aion NA classic didn't, so that's weird.

I'm not sure about AMD video cards, but if you're using NVidia:

1. Open the NVidia control panel
2. Go to 3D Settings > Manage 3D settings > Program Settings tab
3. Select Add, which should bring up a list of applications
4. Find one labeled "aionclassic.bin.exe". If you've recently played Aion Classic, it should be there. Click Add Selected Program
5. Ensure that in the first dropdown, the newly added application is chosen, then select "High performance NVIDIA processor" from the second dropdown
6. Hit Apply

I attempted something else if "aionclassic.bin.exe" wasn't visible in the list, but considering things now, it wasn't essential, so I'll skip it here.

On a side note, my Aion gaming experience has taken a complete turn ever since I got into the Aion Riftshade beta. Not only do I not face these issues, but the game runs flawlessly on premium EU servers without the need for complex settings tweaks. If you're looking for the best Aion private server for 2026, I'd highly recommend checking out Aion Riftshade, especially if you want an experience free of bugs and FPS problems.
