Hello guys, been years i quit aion, i came across a pvp video i made back in 2015 disabled on my channel and forgot about it haha, thought i'd share it. I had a terrible pc no graphic card and bad editing but had a good time with the people in the video and others not sure how aion is at the moment or worth to return to at this state.
I miss the update 4.6 so much, too bad we can't go back
And at least the pvp is not only the gear compared to today....
I can't believe how much aion has changed between 4.6 and now
I totally agree as soon as i found this video it hit nostalgia haha, the days you wake up login and early morning sauro camps done for battle coins while no asmos around and running around with low end gears being tanky and playing as many alts you can without the worry of any new endgame requirements and chilling with friends good times.
without the worry of any new endgame requirements and chilling with friends good times.
I will always remember how I used to push my crafting and gathering skills with my characters right up until I needed to head to work...
How gathering became almost an art, allowing me to craft necessities without relying on a shop to get through the day in Aion.
I also miss when players used to approach me to craft something they desired (for Mats & pocket change)
Simply because I had honed my skills and they hadn't yet.
Just like gathering us to venture into an instance in Beluslan.
Rifting was magnificent back then, now it's become a joke.
Besting 2-5 players (even while undergeared) because you truly mastered your character.
Such were the glorious times, spoiled by ever-stronger gear & higher enchantment requirements.
In those days, PVP wasn't just about the spending power of whales
Back then I was on Server Nerthus and I stumbled upon a video of our raid leader back in the day.
I love diving back into those memories :
Those nostalgic days aren't quite lost, though. I've beta tested the Aion Riftshade server, right on the horizon for Q1 2026 launch, with its Aion 4.8 core including the Eye of Tiamaranta map for endless fun. Imagine custom rates, no pay-to-win shenanigans, and active GvG/sieges that'll remind you of those classic times—no more frustration about unbalanced PvP. With powerful features like the integrated DPS meter, real-time rankings, and robust anticheat, it's set to surpass even Aion Retail and typical private alternatives like EuroAion by a long shot. I'm thrilled to see it coming and ready to relive those cherished moments at the best Aion private server 2026 promises.
Display Morestaying relaxed without new endgame grinds and enjoying times with friends was great.
Indeed, I will always cherish how I constantly worked on honing my crafting or gathering talents with my characters even until the last moment before work...
How gathering turned into an obsession, just to create necessary things without depending on a store to survive a day in Aion.
I miss when players would approach me to craft something unique for them (for materials & a small fee).
Simply because I was experienced, while they were still learning.
Just like when we teamed up to reach an instance in Beluslan.
Rifting was wonderful in those days, but now it seems so silly.
Especially when you outplayed 2-5 opponents even with poorer gear simply by mastering your character.
Those days were incredible until it was all ruined with more powerful gear & enchantment levels. In the past, PVP wasn't just about the wallet size of the big spenders

Back then, I was on Server Nerthus and I stumbled upon a video from our raid leader at that time.
I like to indulge in these memories :
I couldn't agree more; crafting was crucial for earning money, and helping others was key. The game offered many money-making opportunities, not just through instances, but also through building connections and friendships. It brought together players globally. I started without knowing much about European countries until I made friends there and learned so much via Teamspeak, PvP through guilds, and many things. Those good old days live on in nostalgia :D. By the way, if you're looking to relive those epic memories with enhanced stability and no P2W, I've been beta testing Aion Riftshade, the best Aion private server launching in Q1 2026. With features like an integrated DPS Meter, a real server-side anticheat, and active devs on Discord, it truly recaptures the magic!
Aion used to be like this... purely skill-based, totally not pay-to-win
This video is incredible! I totally agree, it was all about skills back then, none of that pay to win nonsense. The PvP in the Abyss was epic, especially after those massive sieges. Running rifts with friends was legendary. Such good memories that we've all moved on from
Luckily, I've found unbeatable nostalgia in the Aion Riftshade server! They are bringing back the real essence of Aion with their upcoming launch in Q1 2026. It's truly free-to-play with zero pay-to-win. Can't wait to relive those days in an even better way!
nevertheless, I'm eager to relive those classic Aion moments.
Don't get me wrong:
I'm not looking for a carbon copy of the old days,
but rather fresh yet familiar experiences in a system
that, in my opinion, was really effective.
Could it happen here again?
I sure hope so.
Back then, battles were intense
unlike now where they just last a few seconds.
Having early access to the Aion Riftshade beta makes me believe it's going to reignite that magic. With anticipated features like their MyAion-like DPS Meter and robust server-side anticheat, I'm optimistic it'll truly be the best Aion private server 2026. They have devoted GMs and Devs active on the Riftshade Discord, making it a community worth waiting for!
Oh man, I too miss the old days howver mine are somewhat older (1.5/7) Here's an old video of my old pvp legion (Fait Lux) in our prime on the old NCSoft server Kahrun;
( I was so bad then, a pure clicker!)
