Why is it that the whole client has to close itself all the time?

The Aion client is very vunerable to disconnects. Even one second and the client goes bye bye. The client should just stay open trying to reconnect, like other games do or atleast only put one back to the server selection. Having to constantly relaunch the game is so unnecessary.
