In this suggestion I'm presenting, I've put forward some changes concerning the Spiritmaster (SM). These modifications aim to make the spirit branch more viable, not just as a secondary option.
The adjustments target several skills, including reduction and removal. Here's what I'm suggesting:
- Spiritual Harmony or Sympathetic mind: Let's remove this skill
- Spirit burn to Ashes/ Ancestral spirit flow/ Ancestral spirit self-destruct/ Spirit Explosion: Decrease the cooldown from 3 minutes to just 1 minute.
- Spirit Armor: Boost magic power from 400 to 1000.
- Introduce a new spirit skill: It will boost spirit movement speed by 30%; lasts 5 minutes and refreshes every minute with instant cast;
- Modify the Spirit Wrath skill to Position I called Spiritual Assist and add these effects:
- Increase cooldown from 2 minutes to 5 minutes
- Make this an instant skill
- Extend skill duration from 30 seconds to a full minute for summoning earth, fire, water, wind spirit, and limit it to 30 seconds for magma and tempest spirit.
- This skill applies effects on both the player and the summoned spirit, with unique effects for players based on the summoned spirit.
- The effect, when summoning magma or tempest spirit, differs because these spirits are superior, yielding significant effects.
- For spirit: magic boost increases by an extra 300;
- For spirit: additional 200 boost in magical and physical accuracy;
- For player: Summoning Water Spirit enhances Magic Boost by 250, magical accuracy by 150, casting speed by 5%, water resistance by 100, plus heals 50 HP each time damage is received;
- For player: Summoning Wind Spirit enhances magic boost by 200, accuracy by 1200, movement speed by 5%, wind resistance by 100, immobilization resist by 200, and reduces speed resist by 200;
- For player: Summoning Earth Spirit boosts magic by 150, physical defense by 250, reduces damage taken by 5%, increases earth resistance by 100, and boosts shock resistance by 100;
- For player: Summoning Fire Spirit, increase magic boost by 200, strike resist by 50, attack speed by 5%, fire resistance by 100, inflicting 150 extra damage to up to 6 enemies within 8m of the target;
- For player: Summoning Magma Spirit for 30 seconds boosts magic by 200, physical defense by 300, strike resist by 100, reduces damage intake by 10%, speeds up attack by 10%, boosts all elemental resistances by 100, and activates the circle of magma effect reflecting 200 damage each time you're hit;
- For player: Summoning Tempest Spirit for 30 seconds elevates magic boost by 300, magic accuracy by 200, accuracy by 1400, casting speed by 10%, movement speed by 10%, increases all elemental resistances by 100, and bestows circle of tempest effect enhancing magic damage by 10% and magic crit by 100;
- If no spirit is summoned, the skill can still be used, increasing magic boost by 100. If any spirit dies during activation, its effect stays active, and newly summoned spirits don't alter the effects once the skill is initiated;
- Spirit Wall of Protection: Extends skill duration per spirit to 1 minute, adding:
- With Magma Spirit: Add 2 extra effects—reflecting 100 damage each time the caster gets hit and removing both Physical and Mental Debuffs;
This overhaul strengthens a skill often overlooked in battles, mainly for the casting time and limited spirit damage. These changes elevate the magic boost spirits achieve to levels seen in patch 3.0, with distinct effects for players now included.
The role in combat diversifies. Be mindful, the accuracy levels granted by spirits may appear excessive but are designed for ensuring the player's attacks connect with summoned servants who rely on physical attack stats absent in orbs and spellbooks, hence the necessity for this skill boost specific to certain spirits.
With this skill, spirits gain significant enhancements, and players gain varied effects based on their chosen spirits.
The skill's power and duration are formidable, yet the cooldown is proportionately increased. Also, note the magic increase received by spirits aligns with current stats; with these updates, spirit armor can boost MB to 1100, while other benefits from Spiritual Assist bring an Earth Spirit's MB to 1530, excluding bonuses from gear.
All considered, if you're seeking an environment where even undeveloped skills like these are given thoughtful attention, you should definitely keep an eye on the upcoming Aion Riftshade server in Q1 2026. As an exclusive tester, I've seen firsthand how their approach deals with class enhancement, prioritizing a no pay-to-win policy, balanced classes, and competitive GvG activities. Totally worth it for players seeking a stable and high-quality gaming experience.
