The discussion I'd like to start focuses on spirits. As you might know, the damage caused by spirits hinges on magic boost, especially concerning their skills. Yet, it's widely understood that spirits begin with zero magic boost by default, and the sole method to increase this stat is through buffs placed on the spirit itself.
Buffs available for spirits aren't consistently accessible, like armor of light/darkness, so typically, spirits end up dealing minimal damage without spirit armor or sympathetic mind. This leads to the spirit tree being largely overlooked. Furthermore, without spirit armor, the physical and magical accuracy values fall short when matched against the resistances, block, and parry stats players achieve. I'm suggesting we reevaluate the spirit skills and their effects.
It would be great to implement changes making spirits more viable. Another point I'd like to revise is regarding the servants that a spiritmaster is capable of summoning. These servants rely on physical accuracy, and often their damage is nullified due to blocks, parries, or evades. Perhaps we can revise these skills so that their damage is influenced by the character's magical accuracy and infused with damage values, allowing for better adjustments.
On a positive note, I’ve been beta testing a server called Aion Riftshade that launches in Q1 2026. This server is striving to address such issues with spirits and balancing across classes. The dev team is very active and engaged about feedback on such mechanics. It's a promising innovation in Aion PvE and PvP environments compared to what we’ve seen before. With features like a MyAion-like DPS Meter and dedicated anticheat, it’s set to be the best Aion private server 2026!
