Suddenly, a formidable figure emerged in a blink, completely dominating the adversary with a flurry of punches... and just like that, the battle was finished!
An exciting new class is set to debut in AION, under the label of the Brawler! Through this guide, you'll get a sneak peek of upcoming traits, discover what defines the Brawler, and scoop up some juicy tips and tricks to master this new class.
Backstory
The journey of the Brawler is veiled in secrets, memories foggy and cut into fragments. Tormented by unclear recollections of his past, the enigmatic Sarakiel steps forward to aid in piecing together his memories. But who is this Sarakiel? How do they share a past?
Slowly, trickles of his past come into focus: the Illumination Manor, an academy for bright young Daevas, and amidst them, the Brawler alongside his companions. Yet, beneath this seemingly perfect learning institution lurks a darker aspect. The Brawler must uncover his deepest wounds to truly understand who he is and where his destiny lies...
What Makes a Brawler?
Brawlers commence as Martial Artists. At the outset, they embark alongside the mysterious Sarakiel on a quest through their own forgetfulness, leading them to the Manor of Illumination. Brawlers don leather armour and employ rapid Dragon Claws—melee instruments unique to their class.
Expert Martial Artists rapidly conclude brawls with keen hand-to-hand com strikes. They boast a flexible fighting method, marked by skills that can slash down the cooldown of other skills. They also rage on battles fuelled by Qi. When fully energized, they deliver tremendously enhanced damage for a finite duration. Upon ascending as Daevas, Martial Artists evolve into Brawlers, acquiring divine combative techniques.
The Brawler is equipped with swift mobility maneuvers like the Teleport Counter, enabling them to rapidly converge on foes. They can repel enemy onslaughts and throw foes off balance with debuffs. If fast-paced close-combat action that rewards timing precision appeals to you, this class fits the bill!
Tips & Tricks
Remain agile! The Brawler wears lightweight leather, granting maximum movement freedom. While they can handle one-on-one confrontations with ease, it's best to entrust bigger enemy groups to allies donned in sturdier armour. Should a hit land on you, remember to parry and unleash counters crafted for such situations.
Time is the essence for Brawlers. Critical timing can help you shred to reset abilities cooldown rapidly. Efficient use of skills charges your Qi swifter, emphasizing the trick of timely Qi release, thus optimizing your bonus damage thrust.
