Daevas, we’ve just shared that some changes are coming to manastones. With Update 3.0 on the horizon, these changes are set to take effect. We know both the availability and use of manastones have stirred plenty of debates in the community. We've listened to your concerns and have been collaborating with the dev team to enhance player engagement and significantly modify how manastones operate.
Reworked Manastones
A pivotal shift is happening in Update 3.0 regarding manastones: failing when slotting new ones won’t destroy any previously socketed stones. This significantly lowers the risks involved in equipping manastones.
You'll henceforth be able to swap manastones with minimal repercussions. This overhaul means adjusting and perfecting your gear will be more adaptable and economical. We trust this will empower you to explore different play styles without the trepidation of losing precious stones.
Territorial Changes and Access
Thus far, gathering manastones has proven quite the laborious endeavor at times. Starting with Update 3.0, access will be easier, and there will be a broader array of in-game activities generating them.
This update expands on manastone accessibility, ensuring other game systems beyond monster drops become sources. Regional distribution adjustments ensure diverse activities and zones offer opportunities to acquire these stones.
Enchantment Stone Adjustments
Alongside manastone evolutions, slight tweaks to enchantment stones are also in the works. From Update 3.0 forwards, their acquisition becomes easier with heightened drop rates and expanded purchase options. This alteration aims to alleviate them as a hindrance in character progression without destabilizing game balance.
How It Affects You
Refining the mechanics of manastones and enchantments is intended to afford players heightened freedom. The aim is to make manastones more abundant, user-friendly, with broader acquisition avenues.
For those upgrading gear from Update 3.0, less time and effort will be needed to gather requisite stones. Meanwhile, the essential strategy in achieving the perfect manastone blend remains preserved.

We hope these updates enhance your experience in Atreia.
