Backstory
The Empyrean Crucible is an enchanted area for Daevas to test their abilities against the spirits of formidable enemies and polish their skills. Only the top-tier Daevas with stellar teamwork will conquer this ordeal and complete their training successfully!
Where Is the Empyrean Crucible?
Elyos aiming to participate should register for training near the Kaisinel Academy in Sanctum, while Asmodians should proceed to the Marchutan Priory in Pandaemonium.
The Instance
Even though the Empyrean Crucible occurs within a single arena, the landscape morphs with each illusion, presenting new trials every round. There are ten stages, each comprising five waves. Initiate your trial by speaking to the Recordkeeper. If confident, you may also start directly from stage 7.
The objective in every stage is to conquer all adversaries and then converse with the Recordkeeper to advance. Vanquished foes will boost your score, with higher points yielding superior rewards upon completion.
Respawn abilities and items are disabled within the Crucible, but fallen members may use a Worthiness Ticket to continue. Any leftover Worthiness Tickets vanish at the training's conclusion.
You can exit the Empyrean Crucible at any moment by clicking the Stop Training button in the top right of the screen. Additionally, the session will terminate if your entire team perishes.
The Phases
The Empyrean Crucible generally commences at a leisurely pace with novices from the Academy or Priory from where you entered. Upon proving your mettle against the students, the Instructors themselves will challenge you. Show them your prowess and earn some Worthiness Tickets!
Next, brace for a variety of Krall or Mau fighters accompanied by their leaders. Your opponents will be chosen randomly. A bonus round follows in the second stage: King Saam will grace you with a surprise-filled appearance for a short duration.
The next stage spans the elements, with various elementals to defeat until Administrator Arminos releases his elemental spirits. These spirits may leave behind their masks!
The following stage lifts you skywards to grapple with draconic troops. Once conquered, Commander Bakarma will arrive, irritated at the defeat of his forces. The stage concludes with a bonus as Administrator Arminos dispatches a swarm of Drakies for you to dispatch to earn rewards.
Land and air conquered, you'll head to sea next, toward the Steel Rake's wreck. You'll face either Steel Rake’s crew or the Lepharist Revolutionaries who have infiltrated it.
With foes above the water vanquished, dive below to the inky depths where undead horrors await, led by the Equitatus Warrior, fiercely enduring beyond the grave. An additional bonus follows as Administrator Arminos reappears. But this time, devoid of his menagerie, he'll engage you personally!
The subsequent stage introduces familiar faces, as masters from Sanctum and Pandaemonium will challenge you! Impress them to advance.
Stage 8 showcases prominent figures like Kromede and Queen Alukina, a trend that extends into stage 9. At stage's end, there’s a bonus round, with special rewards awaiting anyone who bests the swift Lightning Drakie.
Triumphant Daevas making it this far will face off with Vanktrist Spacetwine in a legendary duel. Those who endure can truly claim victory over the Empyrean Crucible!
Tips and Tricks
Use the downtime at stage's end to ready yourselves before consulting the Recordkeeper to proceed.
The trials in the Empyrean Crucible are extremely varied. Excellent team coordination is crucial!
Worthiness Tickets can be exchanged, and you may carry multiple simultaneously. It's wise for sturdier participants to share them with vulnerable members more prone to defeat.
