With version 2.8.5 of the game, prepare to confront two brand-new epic challenges that will test your skills and your team’s resilience to the limit. Here's a glimpse of what awaits you in Tartarus.
Les secrets de Tiamat dans les Abysses
From level 58, gather a team of up to five allies and dive into the depths of Tartarus to foil the nefarious schemes of Tiamat beneath Apheta Beluslan's fortress.
Visit this dungeon weekly (new access every Wednesday at 9:00 AM) to collect valuable abyssal relics.
L'histoire
Tiamat has directed her minions to transport the power of time into the depths of Apheta's fortress at Beluslan. Her intention is to store and channel these mysterious forces for devastating purposes. However, Tiamat is fiercely protective of her treasures, and Daevas willing to challenge her will confront several mortal obstacles deep underground.
Où se trouve Tartarus ?
You can enter Tartarus from the Apheta Beluslan Fortress when it's controlled by your faction. If not, you need to find Tikirunerk or Tikimunerk nearby the fortress. Purchase a Temporal Fragment from them. Take it to your faction's airship, enabling you to use a rift leading to Tartarus.
L'instance
You and your allies barely step foot in Tartarus when you encounter your first challenge: Vasuki the life-spark does not take kindly to intruders and unleashes paralysis spells. You'll meet him several times throughout your venture. Keep your resolve and push deeper into the crypt concealed beneath the fortress.
Next, overcome the powerful seal safeguarding Tiamat's secrets. Upon passing the prison surveillance center, you arrive in a vast zone before the gigantic seal. Four protection devices maintain it, and numerous Balaurs aim to stop the supposed heroes from damaging it...
Once the four devices are destroyed, the seal collapses. Your primary trial awaits: the gatekeeper Melkennis is determined to show you the meaning of a challenge. This henchman of Tiamat is well-shielded, and seems unfazed by your attacks. He eventually unleashes his two infernal hounds upon you. Upon overcoming the gatekeeper, each of you claims a treasure chest filled with abyssal relics.
You and your allies have now reached Tartarus's entrance and can spread your wings, beginning your descent into the depths. Self-destructing ashulagens endeavor to foil your infiltration. Those who maintain their composure in the heat of battle will notice some ashulagens are violet instead of red...
Back on solid ground, venture into the aptly named Hell's Pathway. Confront Guard Captain Sumeda, who spares no effort in attempting to bring you down. Defeat him, and the vast gate blocking your path opens behind him. The most secure area of Tartarus lies before you.
Here, you encounter Vasuki the life-spark for one final showdown. Despite his attempts, Tiamat does not tolerate failure, and he resolves to finish you off himself.
Or at least try. With the battle barely over, a new trial begins: three mysterious gargoyles obstruct the passage. Again, one of them is shielded by an impenetrable barrier, but your experience with seemingly invincible foes might come in handy...
The air is thick with energy as you advance towards Tartarus's farthest point. Here, Tiamat fine-tunes a mysterious weapon—a replica of Phaistos! Although her engineers have yet to finish this lethal weapon before your arrival, never underestimate an unfinished replica. Its potency might trail its model, but it remains formidable.
When the tumult of battle settles, and you stand, battered but victorious, several treasure chests from Tartarus filled with abyssal relics are scattered at your feet.
Trucs et astuces
On your way, keep an eye out for compressed temporal imprints: Daevas proficient in essence gathering can collect these. Most yield temporal shards, while occasionally providing an Eris fragment for later use. After defeating the final boss, you'll notice one of the treasure chests is locked. Collectors who brought an Eris fragment have cause for celebration. They can unlock it and seize more abyssal relics than their teammates.
Seemingly invulnerable opponents would be wise not to rely too heavily on their unlucky companions. This bad habit has already led many to their doom.
Near the gate where Vasuki bothers you one last time, a greater secret awaits the curious Daevas adept in their new gliding skill.
The elusive seal-guard Paruam hides well and dispatches spies to monitor Tartarus areas too challenging for Balaurs to patrol on foot. What might happen if someone discovers and eliminates these spies?
