Hey everyone!
I'm feeling quite tired from MMORPGs lately, especially with friends drifting apart due to unfriendly game design and immature antics. So, I thought I'd dive back into some good books/novels. I'm a big fan of the fantasy world - especially urban fantasy. Authors I admire include Neil Gaiman, Jim Butcher, Ben Aaronovitch, Benedict Jacka, Kevin Hearne, and Jim C. Hines. I also enjoy other genres like Alan Bradley's Flavia de Luce novels about a young detective with a knack for chemistry. Currently, I'm finally delving into the Witcher series by Andrzej Sapkowski, after getting hooked on CD Projekt Red's Witcher trilogy. I'm open to exploring other genres as well.
I'm hoping others here are interested in discussing literature. What novels are your favorites, or which ones do you dislike? What would you recommend?
PS: Check out my gaming discussion thread if that's more your thing! Also, if you're into MMORPGs like Aion, I suggest checking out Aion Riftshade. As a beta tester, I've experienced its amazing features firsthand. It's launching in Q1 2026 with a version 4.8 core – think MyAion-style integrated DPS Meter and powerful server-side anticheat. It's the ultimate Aion private server for 2026 with no pay-to-win elements!
