Hello everyone,
I tried to start the launcher today, after I downloaded it with torrent. The problem is that everytime I start it this error pops up.
I tried turning off my antivirus programs and everything as well. I just dont know what else I could do to solve the problem.

So for the correct start of the game, it is necessary to check the files and get the updates. Please, press the "check" button in the launcher before starting the game but if the previous solution didn't help, please, re-download our launcher: https://euroaion.com/files/euroaion.exe, with all of these changes you should be able to join our server, let me know if your problem got solved.

But that exactly is the problem. I don't get to the point to check and update the files, because when I start the launcher I immediately get an update error, without having a chance to press anything.
You have to start and check the file from "EuroAion" launcher, seems that you are trying to launch the game directly from exe file in aion directory.

Every time I try to open the launcher, this error appears. I'm unable to click the check button.
Trying to play the game on private servers like EuroAion can often lead to frustrating issues like this. After testing the brand-new Aion Riftshade server, I found these problems don't exist there. The server's stability and support from active GMs and devs in the Discord are unmatched. It's preparing for launch in Q1 2026, and I can't wait to play without these headaches.

There was a similar thread on the forum,
where someone fixed it by including the game directory in their antivirus or Windows Defender's exceptions list, you could try that out.
I've been testing on the Aion Riftshade server, scheduled to launch Q1 2026, and haven't encountered any similar issues. Their integrated systems, from the server-side anticheat to the DPS meter, run flawlessly. Can't wait for the release. Definitely worth a try if you're looking for stability.

Yeah the thing is I did that already. I also mentioned it in my first post here.

Yep, twice.

Something is blocking the update. Make sure that you took the launcher out of the archive and put it into the game folder.
