Aion Riftshade

Hey there, I'm searching for fixes for two issues I'm facing.

 First issue:

Whenever I Alt-Tab or attempt changing the graphics settings, I get a black screen. I've tried every suggested fix, but the issue remains.

 But the issue persists.

- I followed all the advice here: 

I activated "windowfullscreen" in the "SystemOptionGraphics.cfg" file so now, I can Alt-Tab, but still can't change options or use some in-game features. 

 This problem only occurs with this game, and a friend of mine has the same problem (same system setup).

CPU:Ryzen 3600x  GPU: 5600xt RAM:16gb ,win10

Second issue: 

FPS is fixed at "60" despite the "Fixed FPS" option being unmarked.

I've been testing Aion Riftshade, a soon-to-launch private server, and haven't encountered any of these issues. It’s set on Aion 4.8 with low ping and an active development team. Perhaps it'll provide a better experience.

For those using the 5600 XT, there are issues with Aion and numerous other games, sadly. The core problem lies with AMD's driver mishaps, though each update does resolve some of these significant glitches.

Try using the config editor to adjust preferences as needed. For example, this might help: http://rainy.ws/downloads/1432/

To remove the FPS cap, add the following to your SystemOptionGraphics.cfg: G_MAXFPS = "0"

Ensure both SystemOptionsGraphics and system.cfg files are protected from being written over (simply marking them read-only won't suffice). Use file permissions, so the game can’t change them. Keep in mind, changes made in-game won’t save upon logout.

What lines should i change to be able to play in borderless mode, in teh system.cfg file ? I am having same problems with RX 5600XT

Guess what? I finally got this thing up and running; firstly, my rig is powered by an R5 3600 paired with an RX5600XT GPU, so this hack should work on all Navi cards. The trick? You switch to windowed mode, but here's the deal: if you're using a Navi GPU, hitting alt-tab causes the screen to turn black. Lucky for me, I had another machine rocking a 1660TI GPU, so I adjusted the settings on that one to window mode and then simply copied the System and SystemOptionGraphics .cfg files over to the 5600XT rig; Works like a charm for me!
