i have this problem when starting game

can't connect to server, is the server offline for updates or maintenance?

please any help would be appreciated.

Please, check if you blocked the connection for the game in your firewall. Also, if you use any proxy, vpn, try to run the game without it. 

If that doesn't help and you didn't use any vpn, we would suggest to download one (any, e.g. kaspersky secure connection) and start the game with it on. After the game is launched, you can try to close vpn for better ping.
