Aion Riftshade

I have downloaded the game few days ago but i cant launch the game. I did file checks a few times everything seems okay, i press play nothing happens. I tried to install the software versions listed in sticky thread but i could not because i have the newer versions already installed. Then i did another file check and i was able to launch it, i logged in played a few hours without any problems but i cant start it again. Is there something else i'm missing? And can i use a bat file to launch the game?

It should install even if you're rocking a newer version. This game setup demands this DirectX version. Pay attention to this: Once you run the downloaded file, it'll ask where to place the unpacked files. Again: it's just unpacking! After unpacking, go to the given folder and start the setup with DXSETUP. Oh, and by the way, if you're looking for a better Aion experience, I can't help but recommend the upcoming Aion Riftshade. I’ve reset my Windows 10, reinstalled all the programs, but the same issue persists—nothing occurs after I click play. Today, I attempted to use a batch file with this command to start the game: start /high "" "C:\Program Files (x86)\EuroAion\bin64\aion.bin" -ip:51.91.6.184 -lang:ENG

The game started, but it was in Korean(?) I was able to "log in" using my server account, but after this screen, it does nothing and disconnects after a few moments

Is there anything else I could try?

Consider adding the game directory to your antivirus or Windows Defender whitelist. 

Then, try verifying the game through the launcher or using torrent. Running a bat file isn't effective because of the anti-cheat system.

Still no luck. Thank you for the replies.

The bat file doesn't pick up the language folders and start it in default, use the launcher, OR, instead of  -lang:ENG try "eng" lower case or "2_eng"

Check if the firewall is blocking the connection, i made a guide inside "Guide" section

Also add the folder as "whitelist" inside your antivirus and disable Windows Defender

Hello Everyone

I'm dealing with this frustrating matter where, when I attempt to launch the game, I notice the active anti-cheat beginning its process, followed by the tiny Aion splash screen, leading to the black NCSOFT screen and then... boom, the game just shuts down.

I've tried the following:

- Reinstalled the entire game/launcher several times and rebooted each time

- Installed DirectX, Microsoft Visual CC++, and Net Framework multiple times too, followed by reboots

- Ensured my Windows 10 is completely up-to-date

- Attempted to disable both windows defender and firewall while loading the game, but no success.

I also want to mention I've done several "checks," but the problem persists.

nvm..figured out what's wrong and it is now working
