Aion Riftshade

Hello !

 

I'm experiencing a problem with a "new" PC (not my usual gaming rig): I can launch the game and log in, but once I reach the character selection screen, clicking does nothing. I can click on the character itself (not on the name), and it selects it, but beyond that, no buttons respond (though the hover effect is visible), and pressing enter also yields no result.

The only thing that works is selecting a character and clicking the background to deselect it.

 

Any suggestions on what I might try? I've updated DirectX, GPU drivers, .NET framework, and used the "Check" feature twice with no change.

Check if you have any other programs running on the background. Especially the ones providing overlay. 
White list the game in your antimalware programs and firewall.

Turned out running once again the check fixed it.... As you said, 99% of the errors are fixed with it. I might have had some internet issues the last time.
