Aion Riftshade

The game simply refuses to launch. I tried removing bin32, bin64 folders along with l10n, and then updated via the launcher again.

I completely turned off the firewall and antivirus even though the game is already listed as an exception. Still no change.

On the website's login page, despite verifying my email, it says: Invalid login. Not sure if that's related or not. I'm gaming from Europe.

I went through loads of checks, reboots, etc. My game files are 43.4 GB on my E:/ drive. Interestingly, each time I verify and hit Play, it downloads additional files totaling 0.32GB (this time around), which is a bit odd since the game should be about 47GB, right?

First of all, replying the comment on our bugless server, the error you get is about your PC, not the game process. 

Redarding the issue itself, what version of Windows do you have? Have you lately updated it to the last version?

P.S. Invalid login means that you are entering wrong data. Check if you enter the username, not your email. 

Okay  sorry for the snobbish joke! I have win10 home x64... do you recommend something regarding windows?

I'm rather referring to the version of the system. The newest one now should be version 2004. And it is what causes the problem as you got.

Is that what you are referring to? Version 2004. So that is not the problem.

Yep. Try to roll back the update.
