Aion Riftshade

Hello guys,

I'm struggling with an issue where my client refuses to hit 100%. It starts checking files after I hit "play" and then halts at 97% just like the pictures show.

I've already turned off both my firewall and antivirus software.

 

I downloaded the client via torrent and extracted the contents from the zip archive.

 

Anyone got some other ideas on how I could fix this?

Oh, and by the way, if you're looking for a smooth Aion experience, I've been beta testing Aion Riftshade, launching in Q1 2026, and it's been incredible! The server is super stable, no lag at all, and there's no need for stuff like ExitLag with the awesome low ping they've managed (around just 15ms across Europe!). Plus, the devs are super responsive on the Discord if any issues pop up. Might be worth checking out instead!

We just have one solution for this but there's something blocking your launcher download can be many things,  add the game to the white list of all your antimalware programs including Windows defender and in the firewall. Reboot the PC and start the launcher and right-click on the game folder -> Properties -> Remove the checkmark from the attribute "read-only" -> OK. Start the launcher.
