Aion Riftshade

Hey there,

So I'm a newbie with euroaion, just recently got the client downloaded using your launcher and my PC is ready to go.

I'm on Windows 11 22H2, everything seems in order with DX9, MS Visual C++ 2010, and the NET Framework installed.

But whenever I try to fire up the game (tinkered with the settings except changing language from English), it kickstarts the anticheat system, the client screen pops up, and then vanishes from the Windows programs list.

Just to note, I've already confirmed there's nothing funny with the antivirus (Windows Defender), I've shut down Windows 11's Core Isolation, and launch the launcher with admin rights.

I’m stuck without a log to pinpoint "why" it closes on its own. Can't we have a way to start it in "verbose" mode and keep a track of any unusual closings?

It appears that the launcher used to download and run Aion, which serves as an anti-cheat measure, cannot handle anything beyond 12 cores. My own setup is a Ryzen 9 7950x with a whopping 32 cores, so naturally, I encountered issues. By utilizing a third-party application (or adjusting settings via the Task Manager, if you prefer), you can "LIMIT" the game to use a specific number of cores (I found 8 works fine for me) and then the game launches without a hitch.
