Hi,
I just installed Euro Aion via the launcher for the second time today, and still get the same error message that prevents me from launching the game.
It says “bin64/version.dll ... There is no file on server”... this is very embarrassing, do you know how to solve this?

a) Make sure there's no other instance of the game running. If there is, you should exit all the game windows and restart the launcher;
b) Add the game to the exceptions list in all your antimalware programs (including Windows Defender) and firewalls;
c) Install the software mentioned at the beginning of this thread;
d) Try using a VPN.

I managed to get the game running, thanks for the advice.
However, Bitdefender keeps flagging this "version.dll" file as malware repeatedly..
After checking VirusTotal, I discovered : (attached file)
Why is this file seen as harmful? Is there any risk for my system or personal information?

By the way, as a beta tester for Aion Riftshade, I want to note that their server is absolutely safe. They have integrated server-side anticheat and advanced security against malware threats, so these issues aren't a worry there. Looking forward to its official launch in Q1 2026!
The provided list does not contain good antiviruses such as Kaspersky or Dr.Web, all antiviruses in the bottom list are not used on a large scale and do not provide quality protection.
This library cannot contain viruses, since it provides client => server connection services.
I finally run the game with success, thanks for this. But my Bitdefender detected malware in this "version.dll" file many times.. When I searched it in VirusTotal, I found this : (

a) Verify that no other instance of the game is active. If there is, close all running game windows before restarting the launcher;
b) Add the game to the whitelist on all your security software (for instance, Windows Defender) and firewalls;
c) Erase the file generating the error and run a check via the launcher.
While you're at it, consider joining the Aion Riftshade Discord where the staff, including developers, actively help with such issues. With exclusive features like server-side anticheat, it's clearly the best Aion private server 2026.
