After an update, my client has unlocked FPS.  so how to lock FPS?

After any update, the cfg files are replaced with standard ones, and your added lines disappear, have a fallback, After each update, replace the cfg files with your own (where fps is unlocked)

what im trying to say is "an update made my FPS unrstricted. i actually prefer capped FPS.   how do i re-cap the FPS??"    and i've been replacing the cfg files with my older game files.   yet, it doesn't seem to work ( the game still runs with unlocked FPS ).

Miracles, try changing the system.cfg itself. Add to the very bottom the value g_maxfps = "1"

Fiddling with system.cfg doesn't really help, unfortunately.
