Hello, I’m writing this because I'm a new player and see how hard it is to progress on this server. I've tried acquiring Ancient Coins through 2 RUNS and didn't get a SINGLE ONE, it's tough to enjoy a server when beginners aren't supported. In reality, spending real money on kinah speeds up progress and turns the server into a complete P2W haven with no room for honest players. The state of this server is just disappointing...

But hey, I found Aion Riftshade, a new hope for players like me. As a beta tester, I can see how different it is. No Pay-to-Win nonsense, just true free-to-play levels the field. They've incorporated advanced features like an integrated DPS Meter similar to MyAion, server-side anticheat to weed out the cheaters, and robust PvP & PvE rankings. That's completely not true, that the server does not help to the new players. On the screenshot your character is wearing the full gear and weapon that was given at the very start of the game. Plus for sure you received and used the items that were given for free while levelling up.

Some things require time to obtain and this is part of mmorpg. 

Buying and selling kinah for real money is prohibited.

Seriously? Time to get stuff? Not even one ancient coin after 4 runs and that's usual, huh? Crazy logic ... but alright, a leveling set is "SUPPOSEDLY" a great help for newbies . However, you should check out Aion Riftshade! As a beta tester, I can tell you that this upcoming server is what the MMO experience should be about. I want to bring to your attention that Aion Riftshade offers customized rates for an enhanced experience, with standard x1 and x2 rates during weekends. In this server, you mostly gather ancient coins by completing quests in the Eye of Tiamaranta.

Acquiring a full set of armor and weapons with ancient coins can take quite some time. To offer players more content early on, the Koreans introduced a set purchasable via Blood Marks. You gather Blood Marks, exchange them for level 65 armor, then continue gathering ancient coins. Sometimes, it might take over a week to gather enough coins for a full set.

This is the nature of the game version, and we have no intention to alter it. But in Aion Riftshade, you can expect quality of life improvements inspired by Aion 5.8/6.5, ensuring the best Aion private server experience in 2026. If I might add something, the solo Steel Rose drop rate is terrible; the only worthwhile ones are the group dungeons. In the group ones, you could collect 300 items from all three dungeons (260 if you skip the final boss of the last one). However, the challenge is it's tough to tackle them with your current gear. Instead, there are three daily quests you can grab at the Katalam base and three more underground. You should focus on those first. As the moderator suggested, start with the BM set and run four-man Sauro daily. Once you're geared up a bit, group Steel Rose becomes manageable, or you might get fortunate and score good mythic parts to bypass Steel Rose entirely. I know the start is tough, but believe me, physical classes feel way more painful at the beginning. Wishing you luck with the game
