Hey, I've been curious for a while about exactly how loot and drops work, especially with buffs.
To clarify:
Elim Amulet II offers a 50% increase in drop rate.
Lucky Vinna boosts the chance to drop by 20%.
Are these the same kind of drop rate increases, or is Lucky Vinna about drop chance and Elim about drop quantity?
How does this work when you're in a group? Is it influenced by the loot distribution options?
If I'm the only person using Vinna in a 6-man group, does it mean all mobs have a 20% higher drop chance or just every sixth mob given to me through loot distribution?
Can this be affected by Leader Loot, and what about with FFA loot?
It'd be awesome if someone could provide a reliable answer to this, maybe even with a source. A lot of people claim to know how it works, but I don’t know anyone who can really say for sure.
