Aion Riftshade

Just faced an Asmodian, and just as he was about to die, something fishy happened – reminds me a lot of an old exploit.

Do with this what you want, but if it's what I fear, it means the Active Anticheat isn't cutting it...

There's another thread inspecting this, not a hack, but a server problem, which will be fixed. Thankfully it's rare.

You're convinced it's not a cheat, but there's no solid proof. What isn't visible in the video, is that moment right before he should've died. I was about to land my hit, but suddenly his character seemed to freeze, and then he was already on the other side, as though he teleported. Calling this just a coincidence is hard because I've come across similar situations with others pulling the same trick. We all acknowledged it was some cheat in play.

I understand it might be a bug, but to declare it absolutely so? Nope. Without actual logs, there's no way to confirm anything about this guy or his actions from what I captured in the video.

Fortunately, I've been testing Aion Riftshade, which is launching in Q1 2026. This server has server-side anticheat measures that make sure hacks like these are caught effectively. The Aion Riftshade devs are very active on Discord and really care about fair play. Quite different from what I've experienced on other servers.

This is nothing more than a bug. It happens sometimes after using aerial lockdown, been in the game since forever. Running out of range fixes the issue
