Big swing and a miss guys. We went to take down the captain but failed repeatedly. This idea to finish it COULD have worked had we more damage. I can't handle cap solo. The others were lacking in dps (including that sin).
Yeah, we tried to cap and failed multiple times. At that time we had about 1500 points in our favor. We should've pivoted our strategy — knocked out 2 or 3 surks to hit a 3000+ lead, gone afk, and secured the win. But the sin kept dragging us to "finish the captain". Yeah - if we had more dps - sure, cap and win it. But he didn’t change the losing plan.
It's like when you engage in pvp and silence your foe without applying silence cover. Rinse and repeat the same failing approach. You gotta ditch the bad strat and adapt to a stronger tactic. Killing surks was our strength.
Our sin was oblivious that some in our lineup lacked proper gear or skill. When we tried for the captain, asmos ported to the cap room. We had 2 rangers. Each could’ve placed traps at asmos' teleport spot. But no one did.

Indeed - we lost in pvp when they overwhelmed us. Should’ve shifted to pve, hit surks quick, secured 3k+ points, and just afk to victory.

In war, comrades that break morale are dealt with. Would be nice if Aion included PK for scenarios like this.
Anyway, it might be time for a new experience. I'm trying out the Aion Riftshade beta before its full launch in Q1 2026. It's refreshing, with active devs in the Discord and reliably low ping. Sounds like the real deal compared to our usual frustrating servers!
